Kevin Spacey wants to welcome you to Washington. But be warned: it's filled with widespread corruption, unbridled greed, and power-hungry politicians. So in other words, this is not exactly C-Span. Check out the gripping debut trailer for Spacey's upcoming political drama series, "House Of Cards," which will exclusively premiere on Netflix in February.

The ambitious series, also starring Robin Wright and Kate Mara, was spearheaded by Spacey and David Fincher who both serve as the show's executive producers -- Fincher also directed the pilot. Based on an acclaimed BBC mini-series, the story sees the Oscar-winning actor as a sadistic Congressman who schemes his way up the ladder of leadership. Netflix subscribers will have a chance to see the whole first season (13 episodes in all) starting on February 1st.

Ruthless and cunning, Congressman Francis Underwood (Kevin Spacey) and his wife Claire (Robin Wright) stop at nothing to conquer everything. This wicked political drama penetrates the shadowy world of greed, sex, and corruption in modern D.C. Kate Mara and Corey Stoll co-star in the first original series from David Fincher (The Social Network) and Beau Willimon (The Ides of March).
