Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong'o and "Stranger Things: Season 4" breakout Joseph Quinn lead the cast in "A Quiet Place: Day One," which introduces new characters facing a familiar nightmare, this time amidst the urban streets of a big city. Catch another glimpse of the chaos as "A Quiet Place: Day One" drops a brand-new official trailer, offering a sneak peek at the unfolding mayhem.

Lupita Nyong'o and Joseph Quinn star as two random strangers thrown together by circumstance, striving to survive amidst a monster invasion that plunges civilization into instant chaos. The arrival of these sound-sensitive creatures triggers the rapid collapse of society.

Djimon Hounsou returns to his role as "the Man on the Island," a character introduced in "A Quiet Place: Part II" as the leader of a small band of survivors. "Day One" is expected to unveil the backstory of how his character came to be on the island, hinting at a connection between Hounsou and Lupita Nyong'o's characters.

"A Quiet Place: Day One" is written and directed by filmmaker Michael Sarnoski, who made waves with his directorial debut in 2021's "Pig," starring Nicolas Cage and Alex Wolff. Sarnoski steps into the director's chair previously occupied by John Krasinski, who came up with the original concept for "Day One," and also takes on the role of producer.

With Alex Wolff joining the cast, "A Quiet Place: Day One" is set to hit theaters on June 28th.
