Well, feast your eyes on the latest official trailer for "Twisters," a soft reboot that acts as both a sequel and a contemporary reimagining of the original film.

Daisy Edgar-Jones ("Normal People"), Glen Powell ("Anyone but You"), and Anthony Ramos ("In the Heights") headline an ensemble cast portraying storm chasers on the hunt for a super tornado in this thrilling new disaster film. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Lee Isaac Chung, of "Minari" fame, and written by Mark L. Smith, writer of "The Revenant," get ready for an adrenaline-pumping cinematic experience.

"Twisters" tracks a daring team of storm chasers as they pursue a super tornado, aiming to collect vital scientific data -- and perhaps a bit of social media clout along the way. Powell portrays Tyler Owens, a charismatic and daring social media sensation who chases storms to captivate his online audience. Edgar-Jones takes on the role of Kate Cooper, a former storm chaser haunted by a traumatic encounter with a tornado during her college days, now analyzing storm patterns from the safety of New York City. Ramos stars as Javi, Kate's friend who entices her back into the world of storm chasing with a revolutionary new tracking system.

Adding to the excitement are Brandon Perea ("Nope"), Sasha Lane ("American Honey"), Daryl McCormack ("Peaky Blinders"), Kiernan Shipka ("Chilling Adventures of Sabrina"), Nik Dodani ("Atypical"), and Golden Globe winner Maura Tierney ("Beautiful Boy").

Directed by Lee Isaac Chung, the Oscar nominated writer-director of Minari, Twisters stars Golden Globe nominee Daisy Edgar-Jones and Glen Powell as opposing forces who come together to try to predict, and possibly tame, the immense power of tornadoes. Edgar-Jones stars as Kate Cooper, a former storm chaser haunted by a devastating encounter with a tornado during her college years who now studies storm patterns on screens safely in New York City. She is lured back to the open plains by her friend, Javi (Anthony Ramos) to test a groundbreaking new tracking system. There, she crosses paths with Tyler Owens (Powell), the charming and reckless social-media superstar who thrives on posting his storm-chasing adventures with his raucous crew, the more dangerous the better. As storm season intensifies, terrifying phenomena never seen before are unleashed, and Kate, Tyler and their competing teams find themselves squarely in the paths of multiple storm systems converging over central Oklahoma in the fight of their lives.
