Check out the official trailer of the hotly-awaited fourth season of "The Boys," Amazon's brutally satirical superhero series based on the comic book series by Garth Ennis, of "Preacher" fame.
The series, featuring a stellar cast including Karl Urban, Antony Starr, Jack Quaid, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, and Colby Minifie, unfolds in a reality where superheroes are not only real but also revered as the world's most prominent celebrities. However, the spotlight shines brightest on Homelander (Antony Starr), the most formidable and influential superhero, who harbors dark and homicidal desires to transform his team, The Seven, from beloved icons into "wrathful Gods."
Meanwhile, Billy Butcher ( Karl Urban) finds himself in a state of simmering reflection, grappling with the uncertainty of his next move. However, his world is upended with the revelation of a super deadly virus capable of targeting and eliminating supes. If fans thought the series couldn't escalate further into violence and insanity, they're about to be proven very wrong.
"Walking Dead" star Jeffrey Dean Morgan joins the cast of Season 4, playing an old associate of Butcher's from his CIA operative days. Joining him are Susan Heyward ("Orange Is the New Black") as Sister Sage and Valorie Curry ("The Following") as Firecracker, fresh faces in The Seven superhero lineup. Additionally, "Gen V" alums Maddie Phillips and Asa Germann will guest star as Cate Dunlap and Sam Riordan, respectively, two budding supes from Godolkin University. Meanwhile, Cameron Crovetti reprises his role as Ryan, the equally volatile and homicidal teenage son of Homelander.
Executive produced by showrunner Eric Kripke, "The Boys" gears up for its electrifying return with Season 4, premiering exclusively on Prime Video on June 13th.
