In "Geek Girl," based on the bestselling book by Holly Smale, English actress Emily Carey steps into the shoes of Harriet Manners, a socially awkward teen thrust into the world of modeling. The official trailer for the Netflix series offers a glimpse into Harriet's journey as she navigates the glamorous yet challenging world of fashion.

Emily Carey is previously known for portraying a young Alicent Hightower in HBO's "Game of Thrones" prequel series "House of the Dragon." In "Geek Girl," Carey stars as Harriet, a socially awkward teenage girl whose life takes an unexpected turn when she is suddenly discovered and offered the opportunity to join a prestigious modeling agency as their next rising star.

Joining Carey in the cast are Sarah Parish, Emmanuel Imani, Liam Woodrum, Zac Looker, Tim Downie, Jemima Rooper, Daisy Jelley, and Rochelle Harrington. The series, comprising ten episodes, promises a blend of comedy, drama, and teenage coming-of-age experiences.

With the majority of episodes written by producers Zoe Rocha and Jessica Ruston, and all directed by Declan O'Dwyer ("Crazyhead," "Merlin"), "Geek Girl" invites viewers to join Harriet Manners on her journey of self-discovery and transformation as she strives to become the next big top model.
