Jake Gyllenhaal finds himself accused of a crime he claims he didn't commit. But can his innocence be trusted? Check out the first official teaser for "Presumed Innocent," a new Apple original limited series from mega television producer David E. Kelley and executive producer J.J. Abrams.

Adapted from Scott Turow's bestselling 1987 novel (previously made into a 1990 film starring Harrison Ford), this twisty legal thriller centers on Gyllenhaal's character, a happily married man and chief deputy prosecutor at the Chicago Prosecuting Attorney's office. However, when he becomes the prime suspect in the murder of a young female colleague, his seemingly perfect life starts to unravel, revealing secrets and lies that cast doubt on his innocence.

In his television lead debut, Gyllenhaal headlines an ensemble cast featuring Ruth Negga, Renate Reinsve, Peter Sarsgaard, Bill Camp, O-T Fagbenle, Chase Infiniti, Nana Mensah, Kingston Rumi Southwick, and Elizabeth Marvel.

Norwegian director Anne Sewitsky (A Very British Scandal) serves as an executive producer and directs the first two episodes and the eighth episode, while Emmy Award-winner Greg Yaitanes (Banshee, House of the Dragon) serves as an executive producer and directs episodes three through seven.

"Presumed Innocent" is set to premiere on Apple TV Plus starting June 12th.
