Here's the first official teaser for "Senna," Netflix's upcoming miniseries chronicling the life and legacy of the iconic Brazilian racing champion Ayrton Senna, famously featured in the acclaimed 2010 documentary.

Brazilian actor Gabriel Leone, recently seen in Michael Mann's biopic "Ferrari," steps into the driving shoes of Ayrton Senna, the legendary Formula One racing driver who clinched the F1 world championship three times before his tragic death in a terrible car crash during the 1994 Grand Prix at the age of 34.

Executive produced by showrunners Vicente Amorim and Julia Rezende, who also direct several episodes, this six-part miniseries boasts a stellar cast including Pamela Tome, Alice Wegmann, Gabriel Louchard, Matt Mella, Kaya Scodelario, Arnaud Viard, Steven Mackintosh, and more.

"Senna" is slated for release on Netflix later this year, so stay tuned for its premiere.

After Ayrton Senna, Formula 1 was never the same again. SENNA, a new limited series inspired by the life, career and relationships of the greatest Brazilian driver of all times... Over the course of six episodes, SENNA will showcase, for the first time, legendary Brazilian racing driver Ayrton Senna's journey through triumph, disappointment, joy and sorrow, unveiling his personality and personal relationships. The fictional series starts with the genesis of the three-time Formula 1 champion's motor racing career, when he moves to England to compete in Formula Ford, and until his tragic accident in Imola, Italy, during the San Marino Grand Prix.
