Besties Jess and Hannah made a pact to make their senior prom a night to remember. But who knew it would be so hard to find dates to the dance? Check out the official trailer for the new coming-of-age teen comedy "Prom Dates."

Starring Antonia Gentry from "Ginny & Georgia" and Julia Lester from "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series," this Hulu original film channels the spirit of classic teen comedies like "Superbad," "Booksmart," and "American Pie."

In this Hulu flick, Jess and Hannah (portrayed by Antonia Gentry and Julia Lester) embark on a quest to find prom dates, hoping to live out the quintessential teen prom experience—partying, letting loose, and maybe even some romance. The catch? They've got just 24 hours to make it happen before the big night.

Joining Gentry and Lester in the cast are JT Neal, Jordan Buhat, Zion Moreno, Terry Hu, alongside comedy veterans John Michael Higgins and Chelsea Handler in supporting roles.

Directed by TV veteran Kim O Nguyen, known for her directing work on comedy series like "Never Have I Ever," "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," and "Superstore," and written by sketch comedian D.J. Mausner from "Baroness Von Sketch Show," "Prom Dates" is set to premiere on Hulu on May 3rd.

synopsis:
They made a pact to have the perfect senior prom. That was their first mistake... PROM DATES follows best friends Jess and Hannah (played Antonia Gentry and Julia Lester), who made a pact at 13 to have the perfect senior prom. Despite the impending changes that college will bring over the next four years, the two are committed to honoring their prom pact. But with only 24 hours left before the big event, everything falls apart when they break up with each of their dates. Jess and Hannah are left with one night to find new dates and live out their middle-school fantasies.
