Daniel Bruhl undergoes a remarkable transformation to portray celebrated German fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld in an upcoming French miniseries set to premiere on Hulu this June. Check out the official trailer for "Becoming Karl Lagerfeld."

Set across six episodes, this Hulu original whisks viewers away to the glitzy landscapes of 1970s Paris, Monaco, and Rome, providing a dramatization of Lagerfeld's early years as a rising couturier.

Bruhl, known for his roles in "All Quiet on the Western Front" and Quentin Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds," as well as his portrayal of MCU villain Helmut Zemo, takes on the challenge of becoming Lagerfeld in this miniseries adaptation of Raphaelle Bacque's bestselling biography, "Kaiser Karl." The miniseries charts Lagerfeld's relentless climb to the peak of the fashion world, capturing his quest to establish himself as the unrivaled master of haute couture.

Joining Bruhl in the cast are Theodore Pellerin as Lagerfeld's French companion Jacques de Bascher, Arnaud Valois as his friend and rival Yves Saint Laurent, and Alex Lutz as French fashion entrepreneur Pierre Berge.

Created and executive produced by Isaure Pisani-Ferry, known for her work on "Ganglands" and "Kaboul Kitchen," "Becoming Karl Lagerfeld" boasts a talented team of co-creators and executive producers, including Jennifer Have ("The Red Band Society") and biographer Raphaelle Bacque. Pisani-Ferry also serves as the lead writer, collaborating with Dominique Baumard ("Ganglands", "The Bureau"), Jennifer Have, and Nathalie Hertzberg ("The Goldman Case") on all episodes.
