After his recent stint in "The Bricklayer," Aaron Eckhart dives right back into the action genre with yet another adrenaline-pumping spy revenge thriller. Check out the official trailer for "Chief of Station."

In this movie, Eckhart portrays a retired CIA Station Chief who receives shocking news about his wife's death, discovering it was not accidental. While working on a hunch, he embarks on a rogue mission, joining forces with a former adversary (played by Olga Kurylenko) to uncover a dangerous conspiracy that jeopardizes everything he once defended. For Eckhart's character, it's imperative to know the names of the people he's going to kill.

In addition to Eckhart and Kurylenko, the film also co-stars "Magic Mike" actor Alex Pettyfer, actor-stuntman Daniel Bernhardt ("Extraction 2," "Nobody"), and Nick Moran ("Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels").

Former stuntman-turned-director Jesse V. Johnson helms this new action film. Johnson, a veteran stunt coordinator, has steadily been working, having directed at least 13 action-led thrillers in the last seven years, including "Boudica: Queen of War," "Debt Collectors," "Triple Threat," and "Avengement."

"Chief of Station" is set to hit theaters and VOD platforms on May 3rd.
