Get a sneak peek at Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum's charming chemistry in the eagerly anticipated Apple original film "Fly Me to the Moon." Set against the nostalgic backdrop of the 1968 Apollo 11 moon launch, this romantic comedy promises to whisk audiences away on a delightful journey.

Produced by Scarlett Johansson's production company "These Pictures," the film follows the blossoming romance between Johansson and Tatum's characters against the backdrop of the intense space race between the U.S. and the Soviet Union.

In the 1960s-era romantic comedy, Tatum portrays Cole Davis, a decorated Air Force officer and space engineer serving as NASA's launch mission director. Meanwhile, Johansson takes on the role of Kelly Jones, a talented and ambitious marketing executive tasked with leading NASA's marketing campaign. Kelly is responsible for conducting astronaut interviews and also devising contingency plans to stage a moon landing, should NASA fail to complete its mission. Against this backdrop, Kelly and Cole find themselves drawn into a burgeoning romance, raising the question of whether they can find love amidst the pressures of the space race.

Joining the stellar cast are Ray Romano, Woody Harrelson, and comedian Jim Rash, with direction helmed by television producer Greg Berlanti, widely known for his contributions to hits like The CW's Arrowverse and the popular Netflix series "You." Berlanti brings his signature touch to the film, having previously directed beloved rom-coms like "Life as We Know It" and "Love, Simon."

Prepare for lift-off as "Fly Me to the Moon" hits theaters starting July 12th, promising audiences a delightful blend of romance and nostalgia. The film will also be made available to stream on Apple TV Plus at a later date. Watch the first official trailer, above.
