From the directors of "Ready or Not" and the 2022 "Scream" reboot comes a new horror film where terror comes in the form of a 12-year-old ballerina.
Check out the new official trailer for "Abigail," a new vampire horror thriller where a child abduction scheme takes a terrifying turn when the would-be kidnappers discover that the 12-year-old girl they've taken is anything but ordinary.
The film stars Melissa Barrera (Scream franchise, In the Heights), Dan Stevens (The Guest, Legion), Kathryn Newton (Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Freaky), William Catlett (Black Lightning), Kevin Durand (X-Men Origins: Wolverine) and the late Angus Cloud (Euphoria) and Alisha Weir (Roald Dahl's Matilda the Musical).
The horror movie revolves around a motley group of would-be criminals who embark on a kidnapping plot for a hefty ransom. However, their scheme goes awry when they become trapped inside a fortified mansion, where they encounter a 12-year-old ballerina vampire, plunging them into a terrifying ordeal.
Written by Stephen Shields (The Hole in the Ground) and Guy Busick (Scream franchise, Ready or Not), "Abigail" is directed by the filmmaking team known as "Radio Silence," consisting of directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett and producer Chad Villella.

synopsis:
Children can be such monsters... After a group of would-be criminals kidnap the 12-year-old ballerina daughter of a powerful underworld figure, all they have to do to collect a $50 million ransom is watch the girl overnight. In an isolated mansion, the captors start to dwindle, one by one, and they discover, to their mounting horror, that they're locked inside with no normal little girl.
