Check out the official trailer for the new survival thriller "Lazareth," which takes place in the aftermath of a total societal collapse.

In the film, Ashley Judd ("The Divergent" Series, "She Said," "Heat") plays Lee, a survivalist woman who lives with her two orphaned nieces in a secluded farmhouse. Their isolated existence is disrupted when an injured young man unexpectedly arrives, bringing with him the looming threat of danger from the outside world. This unforeseen event thrusts the women into a precarious situation, testing their resilience and survival skills amidst a world plunged into chaos and uncertainty.

Sarah Pidgeon (Amazon's "The Wilds") and Katie Douglas (Netflix's "Ginny & Georgia") co-star as Lee's naive nieces, while Asher Angel (The "Shazam!" films) takes on the role of the injured young man who finds himself being cared for by these three women.

The film is written and directed by Australia-born filmmaker Alec Tibaldi, whose credits include writing and directing the 2019 indie drama "Spiral Farm."

"Lazareth" is slated for release on May 10th, hitting theaters and VOD platforms.
