Following her Oscar-winning performance in "Poor Things," you might assume Emma Stone would take a well-deserved break, especially from collaborating with director Yorgos Lanthimos. However, you'd be mistaken, as Stone and Lanthimos have wasted no time diving into their next project together.

Check out the first official teaser for "Kinds of Kindness," Yorgos Lanthimos' latest film featuring Oscar-winner Emma Stone alongside a stellar ensemble cast. The lineup includes Jesse Plemons (Civil War), Willem Dafoe (Poor Things), Margaret Qualley (Drive-Away Dolls), Hong Chau (The Whale), Joe Alwyn (The Favourite), Mamoudou Athie (Elemental), and Hunter Schafer (Euphoria).

Set in modern America, the film presents a dark, offbeat anthology comedy that intricately intertwines the lives of multiple characters. Described as a "triptych fable," it delves into three distinct stories: a man grappling with a lack of agency as he aims to seize control of his destiny; a policeman's unsettling reunion with his wife, transformed after being lost at sea, and a determined woman's search for a unique individual destined for greatness as a spiritual leader.

Yorgos Lanthimos also co-wrote the film's screenplay with his frequent collaborator, Greek writer Efthimis Filippou. Their previously writing collaborations include the acclaimed films "Dogtooth" (2009), "Alps" (2011), "The Lobster" (2015), and "The Killing of a Sacred Deer" (2017).

Completed amidst the buzz of award season last year and filmed from October to December in New Orleans, "Kinds of Kindness" promises a fast turnaround as it gears up for a select theatrical release on June 21st, courtesy of Searchlight Pictures. Watch the newly-released teaser, above.
