Lily Gladstone, known for her recent Oscar nomination for "Killers of the Flower Moon," takes on her next role with gusto. In Hulu's latest true-crime miniseries "Under the Bridge," Gladstone portrays a determined police officer driven by the pursuit of justice for a murdered young girl. Check out the newly-released trailer.

"Under the Bridge" is an adaptation of the book of the same name by author Rebecca Godfrey. The book detailed the real-life 1997 murder case of Reena Virk, a 14-year-old Canadian girl from an Indian immigrant family, who was discovered beaten and killed following a gathering at a friend's party. The case uncovered the violent impact on adolescents, shockingly perpetrated by adolescents themselves.

In this new limited series, Riley Keough, from "Daisy Jones & the Six" and "Zola," portrays author Rebecca Godfrey. As Godfrey immerses herself in the investigation for the book she's preparing, she partners with a local police officer portrayed by Gladstone. Collaborating closely, they piece together the series of events leading up to the girl's tragic murder.

Executive produced by Samir Mehta (The Sinner) and Liz Tigelaar (Little Fires Everywhere) with writer-director Quinn Shephard (Not Okay) penning the premiere episode, the series also stars Archie Panjabi, Vritika Gupta, Izzy G, Chloe Guidry, Michael Buie, Ezra Farouke Khan, Javon Walton, Aiyana Goodfellow, and Anoop Desai.

The first two episodes of "Under the Bridge" are scheduled to premiere on April 17th exclusively on Hulu, with subsequent episodes set to be released weekly thereafter.
