Sure, you may have experienced some unpleasant dinner experiences with your parents, but nothing quite compares to these dinners.

Check out the official trailer for "Dinner with the Parents," Amazon's new single-camera comedy series. The show follows a dysfunctional family as they come together for their weekly dinners, which often devolve into uncomfortable situations filled with awkward jokes, unexpected pranks, and embarrassing conversations.

In the new Freevee series, Michaela Watkins (known for "Casual") and Dan Bakkedahl (from "Veep") portray the hilariously inappropriate parents, while newcomers Daniel Thrasher and Henry Hall take on the roles of their humiliated adult children. The cast also includes Carol Kane (from "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt") as the grandmother, with comedian Jon Glaser (of "Neon Joe Werewolf Hunter" fame) making a guest recurring appearance.

Slated to premiere on April 18th on Amazon's Freevee, "Dinner With The Parents" is created and executive produced by Jon Beckerman, an Emmy-winning comedy writer who was the former head writer of "The Late Show With David Letterman" and the co-creator of NBC's comedy series "Ed."
