"Rebel Moon," the ambitious two-part sci-fi action saga, may not have reached the blockbuster status Netflix hoped for initially. Nonetheless, it garnered a sizable audience upon its December debut. Yet according to filmmaker Zack Snyder, the viewership numbers were off the charts. Though, it's worth noting that Snyder's estimation was based on an unofficial calculation he made in his head. But put viewership aside for now, the story of "Rebel Moon" is far from over. And it seems Netflix is revving up its promotional efforts with the release of the official full-length trailer for "Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver." While a teaser for Part Two was previously revealed at the conclusion of Part One, this new trailer offers a more comprehensive glimpse into the epic finale of Snyder's sci-fi saga.

In "Rebel Moon," Sofia Boutella stars as the central heroine Kora, a mysterious rebel warrior with a past rooted in a tyrannical empire. After fleeing the army, Kora finds refuge on a defenseless farming planet. However, when her adopted home falls under the occupation of her former fascist forces, led by the ruthless military commander Atticus Noble (portrayed by Ed Skrein), Kora mobilizes a band of legendary rebels to defend her newfound sanctuary from imminent destruction. In "Part Two: The Scargiver," it appears that Kora and her comrades must train the humble villagers to rise against a newly-resurrected Atticus Noble and his formidable army. While the premise may seem familiar, Snyder has acknowledged that he was inspired by a couple of well-known films: George Lucas's "Star Wars" and Akira Kurosawa's "Seven Samurai."

Alongside Boutella and Skrein, the cast includes Michiel Huisman, Djimon Hounsou, Doona Bae, Staz Nair, E. Duffy, Ray Fisher, Cleopatra Coleman, and Fra Fee, with Anthony Hopkins lending his voice to Jimmy, a former imperial robot soldier now fighting alongside the rebels.

With "Part One" already available for streaming on Netflix, mark your calendars for the premiere of "Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver" on April 19th.
