Netflix has released the first official teaser trailer for "Atlas," an upcoming sci-fi action extravaganza starring Jennifer Lopez.

In this forthcoming Netflix film, Lopez takes on the role of Atlas Shepherd, a brilliant yet cynical data analyst harboring a profound distrust of artificial intelligence. Atlas embarks on a mission to apprehend a rogue A.I. robot with whom she shares a mysterious history. However, when faced with a spaceship malfunction that leaves her stranded on a remote planet, Atlas must reluctantly rely on the very thing she fears most: artificial intelligence.

"Atlas" is written by Leo Sardarian and Aron Eli Coleite, with direction helmed by Brad Peyton, known for his work on effects-laden blockbusters like "San Andreas" and "Rampage."

Alongside Jennifer Lopez, the cast also features recent Oscar nominee Sterling K. Brown, "Barbie" star Simu Liu, as well as Mark Strong, Lana Parrilla, and Abraham Popoola.
