Get ready for the heartwarming journey of a struggling comedian and his young son on the autism spectrum in the upcoming father-son dramedy "Ezra." Check out the official trailer featuring an all-star cast led by Bobby Cannavale, Robert De Niro, Rose Byrne, and the debut of William Fitzgerald.

Bobby Cannavale takes center stage as Max, a stand-up comic barely scraping by, living under the same roof as his father (played by Robert De Niro). When Max gets a shot at stardom with a guest spot on a late-night talk show, he can't afford to mess it up. Determined to seize this opportunity, he embarks on a cross-country road trip. However, things take an unexpected turn when Max's young son, Ezra (portrayed by newcomer William Fitzgerald), who is on the autism spectrum, is scheduled to attend a special school against Max's wishes. In a spur-of-the-moment decision, Max decides to take Ezra on the road trip with him to ensure he makes it to his talk show appearance in Los Angeles, leading to a life-altering journey.

Rose Byrne, Bobby Cannavale's real-life wife, joins the cast as Max's ex-partner and Ezra's mother. The film also features Vera Farmiga, Whoopi Goldberg, Rainn Wilson, and Tony Goldwyn, with a guest appearance by late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel.

Directed by actor Tony Goldwyn, known for his roles in TV's "Scandal" and "Ghost," "Ezra" marks his fifth feature directorial effort, following his work on "Conviction (2010)," "The Last Kiss (2006)," and "A Walk on the Moon (1999)." In addition to his numerous acting credits, Goldwyn has also directed several TV shows such as "Scandal," "Justified," and "Dexter."

"Ezra," produced by Robert De Niro and Bobby Cannavale, is written by Tony Spiridakis. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on May 31st.
