Call us crazy, but there's something undeniably awesome about seeing parasitic aliens with massively long tentacles emerging from faces. It's a blend of gory and bizarre that's hard to look away from. And this new, upcoming Korean horror series might be something you don't want to miss!

Check out the first official teaser of "Parasyte: The Grey," a new live-action sci-fi horror series serving as a spinoff to the beloved comic book series "Parasyte" by Japanese manga artist Hitoshi Iwaaki. This chilling tale, previously adapted into two live-action films in Japan in 2014 and 2015, as well as an anime series, is now set to captivate global audiences next month through Netflix.

Set in a world teeming with enigmatic parasitic organisms capable of latching onto human hosts, the series follows a young woman (played by Jeon So-nee) thrust into the heart of a harrowing invasion by these unidentified parasitic life-forms.

Helming this Netflix production is the acclaimed Korean animator and filmmaker Yeon Sang-ho, known for his works such as "Train to Busan," "The King of Pigs," and Netflix's "Hellbound."

Joining the cast alongside Jeon So-nee are Koo Kyo-hwan, Lee Jung-hyun, Kwon Hae-ho, and Kim In-kwon. "Parasyte: The Grey" is scheduled to make its global debut on April 5th, exclusively on Netflix. Watch the teaser, above.
