Nicolas Cage takes on the role of a protective father in the eerie new supernatural horror thriller, "Arcadian," where hidden dangers emerge under the cloak of darkness, threatening his family. Watch the official trailer for the upcoming thriller.

Drawing parallels to "A Quiet Place," the film follows Cage's character, Paul, as he protects his family amidst a post-apocalyptic landscape swarming with malevolent forces. Paul, alongside his two teenage sons, portrayed here by Jaeden Martell ("IT: Chapters 1 and 2") and Maxwell Jenkins (Amazon's "Reacher"), resides in a fortified farm in rural isolation. In this bleak future, nocturnal terrors wreak havoc on humanity, compelling Paul to prioritize the safety of his sons above all else. However, when one of his sons fails to return home before nightfall, Paul's carefully laid plans unravel.

Directed by Benjamin Brewer and penned by Mike Nilon, "Arcadian" reunites Brewer with Cage, following their collaboration on the Las Vegas heist thriller "The Trust." Brewer's diverse background includes writing the screenplay for the Netflix detective thriller "Reptile." Brewer is also credited as the lead visual effects artist on the Oscar-winning film "Everything Everywhere All at Once." He also worked as a visual effects artist on the indie alien-invasion comedy "Save Yourselves!"

"Arcadian" is set to premiere at the SXSW Film Festival this month, with a theatrical release scheduled for April 12th.
