Amazon Studios has unveiled the highly anticipated full-length trailer for "Fallout," a post-apocalyptic sci-fi action series based on the popular video game franchise.

Executive produced by Jonathan Nolan, known for co-writing "The Dark Knight" and his producing work on HBO's "Westworld," who also directs the first three episodes, the show boasts an impressive ensemble cast including Ella Purnell ("Yellowjackets"), Walton Goggins ("The Hateful Eight"), and Aaron Moten ("Emancipation"), alongside Moises Arias ("The King of Staten Island"), Kyle MacLachlan ("Twin Peaks"), Zach Cherry ("Severance"), Sarita Choudhury ("Homeland"), Michael Emerson ("Person of Interest"), among others.

Set two centuries after an apocalypse, the series delves into societal divisions as inhabitants of fallout shelters are compelled back into the irradiated wasteland. With a blend of intricate world-building and intense violence, along with an abundance of robotic and mech imagery, "Fallout" holds the promise of delivering an exhilarating adaptation of a video game that has garnered a dedicated fanbase.

Nolan, alongside his wife and fellow "Westworld" showrunner Lisa Joy, and video game creator Todd Howard, take on executive producer roles. Meanwhile, Geneva Robertson-Dworet ("Captain Marvel") and Graham Wagner ("Portlandia") serve as co-showrunners.

Scheduled for a global premiere on Prime Video next month, starting April 12th, fans can catch a glimpse of the series through the recently released official full trailer.
