You might know actress Brittany Snow from her roles in the "Pitch Perfect" films or the horror movie "X." However, Snow is now venturing into new territory as she takes her first step behind the camera, making her feature directorial debut with this upcoming drama. The film tracks a young woman as she wrestles with personal challenges while navigating the intricate dynamics of newfound romance and friendship.

In the newly-released official trailer for "Parachute," we meet Riley, played by Courtney Eaton (Showtime's "Yellowjackets," "Mad Max: Fury Road"), who is fresh from rehab therapy with battles against body dysmorphia and eating disorders. As she strives to rebuild her life, Riley encounters Ethan, played by Thomas Mann ("Project X," "Me and Earl and the Dying Girl"), a compassionate guy with good intentions. However, as their friendship evolves into romance, Riley is forced to confront her personal demons and question her readiness for a relationship.

The ensemble cast also features Francesca Reale, Gina Rodriguez, Joel McHale, with special appearances by Dave Bautista and Scott Mescudi.

"Parachute" garnered positive reviews at the SXSW Film Festival last year and is scheduled for release in theaters and on VOD on April 5th.
