Anne Hathaway finds herself labeled as a "cougar" when she embarks on a romance with a significantly younger man in the official trailer for "The Idea of You."

Adapted from actress/author Robinne Lee's debut novel, this upcoming Amazon original film features Hathaway alongside Nicholas Galitzine, known for his roles in the Netflix romantic drama "Purple Hearts" and the teen comedy "Bottoms." Galitzine portrays the lead singer of a popular British boy band (reminiscent of Harry Styles from One Direction), who unexpectedly finds himself entangled in a romance with a 40-year-old single mother and owner of an art gallery in Los Angeles. Their budding relationship captures the attention of the media, subjecting the unconventional couple to intense scrutiny.

Alongside Hathaway and Galitzine, the film co-stars Annie Mumolo, Ella Rubin, Reid Scott, and Perry Mattfeld. Directed by comedian-turned-filmmaker Michael Showalter, known for his directing work on the hit dramedy "The Big Sick" and the biopic "The Eyes of Tammy Faye" starring Jessica Chastain, the screenplay adaptation is penned by actress Jennifer Westfeldt.

"The Idea of You" is set to premiere at the SXSW film festival later this month before making its exclusive debut on Prime Video on May 2nd. Watch the trailer, above.
