"The Wild Robot" features a stellar voice cast headlined by Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong'o, lending her voice to the title character, ROZZUM unit 7134, affectionately known as "Roz." Joining her are Pedro Pascal (The Last of Us, The Mandalorian) as the cunning fox Fink, Emmy winner Catherine O'Hara (Schitt's Creek) as the resourceful opossum Pinktail, Oscar nominee Bill Nighy (Living) as the wise goose Longneck, Kit Connor (Heartstopper) as the endearing gosling Brightbill, and Oscar nominee Stephanie Hsu (Everything Everywhere All at Once) as Vontra, a robot whose path will intersect with Roz's on the island.

Notable voices also include "Star Wars" legend Mark Hamill, comedian Matt Berry, and Ving Rhames.

"The Wild Robot" is written and directed by Chris Sanders, a seasoned animation director celebrated for his work on beloved films such as "Lilo & Stitch," "How to Train Your Dragon," and "The Croods." Sanders also directed the 2020 live-action canine drama "The Call of the Wild," starring Harrison Ford.

Produced by Jeff Hermann, "The Wild Robot" is set to hit theaters on September 20th.

From DreamWorks Animation comes a new adaptation of a literary sensation, Peter Brown's beloved, award-winning, New York Times bestseller, The Wild Robot. The epic adventure follows the journey of a robot -- ROZZUM unit 7134, "Roz" for short (voiced by Lupita Nyong'o) -- that is shipwrecked on an uninhabited island and must learn to adapt to the harsh surroundings, gradually building relationships with the animals on the island and becoming the adoptive parent of an orphaned gosling.
