Are you someone who gets the heebie-jeebies from spiders but still loves a good scare from a horror flick? Well, here's a movie that might just cater to your taste. Here's the official trailer for "Infested," a new French horror thriller that promises to send chills down your spine and maybe even give you a case of the creeps.

In "Infested," set to premiere on the horror streaming platform Shudder next month, we meet Kaleb (portrayed by Theo Christine), a man on the verge of his 30th birthday and grappling with intense loneliness. Amidst disputes with his sister over inheritance and a falling out with his best friend, Kaleb discovers a venomous spider at an exotic market and brings it home. In a horrifying turn of events, the spider escapes and begins to multiply, transforming his apartment into a nightmarish web of terror.

Co-starring Finnegan Oldfield, Jerome Niel, Sofia Lesaffre, and Lisa Nyarko, the film marks the directorial debut of rising horror filmmaker Sebastien Vanicek. Notably, Vanicek has recently been chosen to helm a new spin-off of the Evil Dead franchise for Sam Raimi and Robert Tapert's Ghost House Pictures.

"Infested" is scheduled to premiere exclusively on Shudder on April 26th.
