Travel back to Chicago in 1965, a time marked by the growing counter-culture movement, where freedom meant challenging authority and rebellion was hailed as an act of bravery and defiance. This vivid backdrop sets the stage for "The Bikeriders," a new biker gang drama starring rising actor Austin Butler, known for "Elvis" and "Dune Part 2," alongside "Venom" star Tom Hardy.

Check out a brand-new trailer for the upcoming film, inspired by photographer Danny Lyon's 1968 photo-book of the same name, which captures the evolution of motorcycle culture in 1960s Chicago, as it rapidly transitioned from biker clubs to biker gangs.

In the upcoming film, Butler takes on the role of Benny, a loyal lieutenant within The Vandals, an outlaw biker club, while Tom Hardy plays Johnny, the uncompromising leader of the biker gang. Jodie Comer co-stars as Kathy, who finds herself drawn to Benny amidst his deepening involvement in the gang's criminal activities, where violence becomes a recurring theme.

Michael Shannon, Norman Reedus, Damon Herriman, Boyd Holbrook, and Toby Wallace round out the ensemble as fellow bikers, with Mike Faist portraying photographer Danny Lyon.

Written and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Jeff Nichols, whose credits include "Loving," "Midnight Special," and "Mud," "The Bikeriders" gears up for its theatrical release on June 21st. Watch the trailer, above.
