Bill Skarsgard ("Barbarian," "John Wick 4") embarks on a vengeance-driven rampage in the official trailer for the new action-packed revenge thriller "Boy Kills World."
In this wildly imaginative action extravaganza, reminiscent of Street Fighter-like Kung Fu video games blended with the stylish flair of "Kill Bill," Skarsgard portrays "Boy," a mute-deaf orphan consumed by a thirst for vengeance. His journey is guided by an inner voice narrated by comedian H. Jon Benjamin, known for his voice work on "Archer." After escaping to the wilderness following the brutal murder of his family, Boy encounters a mysterious martial arts shaman who transforms him into an unstoppable force of retribution, propelling him on a relentless quest for justice.
Sharing the screen is Famke Janssen (from the "X-Men" franchise) as Hilda Van Der Koy, the unhinged matriarch of a corrupt post-apocalyptic dynasty responsible for the annihilation of Boy's loved ones. However, to confront her, Boy must first confront a gauntlet of her most formidable enforcers and devoted minions.
The ensemble supporting cast include Jessica Rothe, Michelle Dockery, Andrew Koji, Sharlto Copley, Isaiah Mustafa, Yayan Ruhian, and Brett Gelman.
"Boy Kills World" marks the feature directorial debut of German filmmaker Moritz Mohr, who is recognized for his works on the black-and-white female samurai short "Akumi (2005)" and the video store clerk-themed short "Vidiots (2006)."
Produced by veteran genre filmmaker Sam Raimi, "Boy Kills World" hits theaters on April 26th.

Bill Skarsgard stars as "Boy" who vows revenge after his family is murdered by Hilda Van Der Koy (Famke Janssen), the deranged matriarch of a corrupt post-apocalyptic dynasty that left the boy orphaned, deaf and voiceless. Driven by his inner voice, one which he co-opted from his favorite childhood video game, Boy trains with a mysterious shaman (Yayan Ruhian) to become an instrument of death and is set loose on the eve of the annual culling of dissidents. Bedlam ensues as Boy commits bloody martial arts mayhem, inciting a wrath of carnage and blood-letting. As he tries to get his bearings in this delirious realm, Boy soon falls in with a desperate resistance group, all the while bickering with the apparent ghost of his rebellious little sister.
