With films like "Ex Machina," "Annihilation," and "Men," filmmaker Alex Garland has consistently pushed the boundaries of thought-provoking genre-bending thrillers. Now, with his latest endeavor, Garland delves into the grim anxieties of ordinary Americans, presenting a vision of a nation in utter turmoil.

Check out a brand-new trailer for Garland's "Civil War," a dark thriller that paints a near-future landscape where segments of the United States are embroiled in a bloody conflict against one another.

Leading a robust ensemble cast are Kirsten Dunst and Wagner Moura, accompanied by Cailee Spaeny, Jesse Plemons, and Stephen McKinley Henderson. Nick Offerman also joins the lineup, portraying a U.S. President grappling with a fractured nation.

In film, Dunst, Moura, and Spaeny portray a family of photojournalists thrust into the heart of an increasingly violent military conflict while traveling across a divided America.
