Scheduled to hit theaters in a matter of weeks, "Bob Marley: One Love" showcases the acting talents of Kingsley Ben-Adir portraying none other than Bob Marley himself. You may recognize Ben-Adir from his lauded portrayal of Malcolm X in the 2020 film "One Night in Miami," or perhaps from his appearances in the MCU miniseries "Secret Invasion." However, many will likely recall his role as one of the comical "Kens" in the blockbuster hit "Barbie."
Regardless, Ben-Adir embraces the monumental challenge of embodying Bob Marley's Jamaican persona in this upcoming biopic that delves into Marley's extraordinary life and musical journey. You can get a taste of Ben-Adir's acting and mimic skills by checking out his performance in this new "Big Game" commercial, which is set to air this Sunday during the Super Bowl.
Directed by "King Richard" helmer Reinaldo Marcus Green and co-starring Lashana Lynch ("The Woman King") as Marley's wife Rita, "Bob Marley: One Love" will be gracing the big screen next week on February 14th.
