Ryan Reynolds is having a busy year with a lineup of anticipated films. Before gracing the big screen in the "Deadpool" threequel "Deadpool & Wolverine," Reynolds will be seen in John Krasinski's new fantasy comedy "IF," which recently unveiled a commercial aired during the Super Bowl.

"IF," both written and directed by Krasinski, his first film following his work on the post-apocalyptic monster horror films "A Quiet Place" 1 and 2, features Reynolds as a man who reconnects with his childhood imaginary friend. This reunion is sparked by his neighbor, a young girl named Bea (played by Cailey Fleming), who possesses the unique ability to see forgotten imaginary creatures. Bea's mission is to reunite these beings with their now-adult original owners.

Steve Carell is at the forefront of a star-studded cast voicing the imaginary friends (IFs). Carell lends his voice to "Blue," a whimsical blue creature who was once Reynolds's childhood companion. Fiona Shaw, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Louis Gossett Jr., Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Maya Rudolph, Jon Stewart, Bobby Moynihan, Sam Rockwell, Sebastian Maniscalco, Christopher Meloni, Richard Jenkins, and Awkwafina round out the cast.

Audiences can look forward to a magical experience when "IF" debuts in theaters on May 17th. Watch the new spot, above.
