You may recognize actress Emily Bett Rickards from her role as the beloved character Felicity Smoak, also known as "Overwatch," in eight seasons of the CW superhero series "Arrow." However, she undergoes a remarkable transformation to embody the legendary sharpshooter Calamity Jane in this new indie revenge western thriller. In an exciting twist, Emily Bett Rickards once again gets to share the screen with actor Stephen Amell, who played Oliver Queen, also known as the Arrow, as he takes on the role of "Wild Bill" Hickok, Calamity Jane's famous associate in this forthcoming film.

Take a look at the official trailer for "Calamity Jane," an action-packed western movie. It features Emily Bett Rickards as the fiery sharpshooter who escapes from jail and embarks on a vengeful quest following the brutal murder of her closest ally, Wild Bill (Stephen Amell). The film promises an abundance of thrilling gunfights, saloon brawls, poker showdowns, whiskey shots, horse-drawn carriages, and, unexpectedly, a collection of dubious fake wigs. Remember, it's a low-budget western.

Directed by Terry Miles (known for the indie westerns "Stagecoach: The Texas Jack Story" and "Lonesome Dove Church"), the film also stars Tim Rozon (from "Schitt's Creek") as Deadwood's Sheriff Mason, who pursues Jane in her frenzied spree.

"Calamity Jane" is set to hit theaters and digital platforms on February 2nd.
