People often express concerns about the potential dangers astronauts face while drifting in space. However, few consider the possible challenges that astronauts might encounter upon their return to Earth.

Take a look at the official trailer for "Constellation," a new Apple original series, which provides a glimpse into this intriguing premise. The series stars Noomi Rapace, known for her starring in Ridley Scott's "Prometheus" and the original Swedish-Danish film adaptation of "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo."

In this psychological thriller series, Rapace portrays Jo, an astronaut who survives a harrowing experience in space and safely returns home to Earth. To her astonishment and dismay, she begins to realize that her life is not exactly as she remembers it. There are subtle but unsettling differences, such as her young daughter not being the same person she recalls. Jo's life spirals into confusion as she grapples with deciphering what is real and what is amiss.

The series also costars Jonathan Banks, of "Breaking Bad" and "Better Call Saul" fame. "Constellation" is created and written by British television writer-producer Peter Harness, whose previous credits include acclaimed British shows like "McMafia," "Doctor Who," and "Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell."

Emmy-winning television director Michelle MacLaren, known for her work on "Breaking Bad" and "Shining Girls," directs the first two episodes of this Apple series. The cast also includes James D'Arcy, Julian Looman, Will Catlett, Barbara Sukowa, and introduces Rosie and Davina Coleman as Noomi Rapace's young daughter.

"Constellation" is set to launch exclusively on Apple TV Plus on February 21st, promising a psychological exploration of the challenges an astronaut faces upon returning to Earth.
