From Todd A. Kessler, the co-creator behind the acclaimed television dramas "Damages" and "Bloodline," comes a new historical series that delves into the 1940s Paris fashion world, where Emmy-Award winner Ben Mendelsohn steps into the shoes (and suits) of the French iconic fashion designer Christian Dior.

Check out the first official trailer for "The New Look," a new Apple original series that dramatizes the creation of Christian Dior's groundbreaking 1947 "new look" fashion collection. Dior (played by Mendelsohn) would later establish one of the world's leading fashion houses during and after World War II.

Mendelsohn is not alone in the cast of the series; he is joined by a stellar ensemble. Academy Award winner Juliette Binoche takes on the role of the renowned French fashion designer Coco Chanel. "Game of Thrones" actress Maisie Williams portrays Catherine Dior, Christian's sister, who was historically recognized as a French Resistance fighter during World War II. Additionally, John Malkovich steps into the role of Lucien Lelong, a prominent French couturier from the 1940s.

Rounding out the cast are Emily Mortimer, Claes Bang, and Glenn Close, who portrays Harper's Bazaar chief editor Carmel Snow.

"The New Look" is set to make its debut on Apple TV Plus with a three-episode premiere on February 14, followed by the release of additional episodes each subsequent week.
