A young undocumented immigrant finds himself in a precarious spot after taking a job from a mysterious man who, as it turns out, is a psychopathic criminal in this new desert town-set crime thriller that stars Diego Tinoco (from Netflix's "On My Block"), Luke Hemsworth (HBO's "Westworld"), and Hemky Madera (who played bodega owner Mr. Delmar in "Spider-Man: Homecoming").

Check out the official trailer for "Bad Hombres," a neo-noir thriller directed by John Stalberg Jr., the same filmmaker behind the indie thrillers "Muzzle" and "Crypto," and the stoner comedy "High School."

In this film set in New Mexico, Diego Tinoco plays Cesar, an undocumented immigrant in desperate need of work. When Cesar is approached by Alfonso (Hemky Madera), a fellow day-laborer offering a job, they unknowingly become entangled with Donnie (Luke Hemsworth), an unhinged Australian who happens to be a well-connected professional killer. Their job seems simple enough -- digging holes for dead bodies. However, as nosy locals interfere, the body count begins to rise.

Thomas Jane, Tyrese Gibson, and Nick Cassavetes are also part of the cast in this gritty thriller, which appears to be fully aware of its slightly cheesy, crime romp style.

"Bad Hombres" is scheduled for a theatrical release on January 26th, and it will also be available on VOD on the same date.

synopsis:
Desperate to provide for his family, undocumented immigrant Cesar (Diego Tinoco) is hired alongside day-laborer Alfonso (Hemky Madera) to work for Donnie (Luke Hemsworth), a brute who is also a psychopathic criminal. Now finding themselves entangled in the aftermath of a botched drug deal, Cesar and Alfonso must band together to survive. Luckily, Alfonso has a criminal past of his own that might be what he and Cesar need to make it out alive.
