"Riverdale" star Camila Mendes takes center stage in this new Amazon original film that revolves around a career-focused intern who finds herself caught in a web of white lies that leads to an unexpected opportunity.

Check out the official trailer for "Upgraded," a romantic comedy that combines elements of "Working Girl" and "The Devil Wears Prada."

Camila Mendes portrays Ana, a determined young woman in New York with aspirations in the art world. She secures an internship at an upscale auction house, working under the demanding Claire (played by Marisa Tomei). During a work trip to London, Ana is unexpectedly upgraded to first class on her flight. A chance encounter leads her to be mistaken for her boss by a charming British aristocrat (played by Archie Renaux from Netflix's "Shadow and Bone"). Ana decides to go along with the misunderstanding, but as the web of lies grows, it jeopardizes both her career and her budding romance with the British suitor.

The film features a talented ensemble cast including comedian Andrew Schulz, Lena Olin, Anthony Head, Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Rachel Matthews, Gregory Montel, and Thomas Kretschmann.

"Upgraded" is directed by Carlson Young, an actress-turned-director known for her role in the first two seasons of the MTV horror series "Scream." The film is set to premiere on Prime Video on February 9th.
