"Resident Alien" is surely one of the most underrated comedy series to emerge in recent years. In this quirky alien-themed comedy, the talented comic actor Alan Tudyk plays the role of an extraterrestrial stranded on Earth, masquerading as a local doctor in a quaint Colorado town. If you haven't watched it yet, now's your chance to catch up before the new third season premieres in February. And for those eagerly anticipating new episodes, you're in for a treat, as they've released a trailer for Season 3.

Based on the Dark Horse comic book of the same name by Peter Hogan and Steve Parkhouse, "Resident Alien" follows Harry, a space alien portrayed by Alan Tudyk, who crash-lands on Earth and assumes the identity of a small-town human doctor in Colorado. Harry originally arrives with a mission: to eliminate the Earth's population in preparation for a mass invasion. However, over time, Harry becomes emotionally attached to some Earthlings, particularly his best friend, nurse Asta Twelvetrees, played by Sara Tomko. Now, Harry embarks on a new mission to save Earth from the impending alien invasion.

In Season 3, Harry joins forces with one of his biggest adversaries, a government agent specializing in hunting aliens, General Eleanor McCallister, portrayed by "Terminator" icon Linda Hamilton. Together, they work to thwart an impending invasion.

Executive produced by showrunner Chris Sheridan, known for his work on "Family Guy," "Resident Alien" returns for its third season on February 14th, airing on the Syfy channel and streaming on Peacock.
