"Bosco" is a new Peacock original feature film based on a true story, with Aubrey Joseph (star of Marvel's short-lived series "Cloak & Dagger") in the lead role as Quawntay "Bosco" Adams. The film, as showcased in its official trailer (featuredabove), explores the harsh conditions and over-policing within the American incarceration system during the era of the War on Drugs.

In 2006, Bosco found himself imprisoned at a maximum-security facility for his involvement in a marijuana case, receiving a 35-year sentence at a time when he was expecting the birth of his first child. Faced with this dire situation, Bosco hatches a daring escape plan and executes a bold prison break.

The cast of "Bosco" includes Thomas Jane, Nikki Blonsky, Theo Rossi, Tyrese Gibson, and Vivica A. Fox. The film is based on the memoir "Chasin Freedum" by Quawntay "Bosco" Adams, who has since transformed into a motivational speaker following his release from prison.

Featuring original hip-hop music, including tracks from artists such as Snoop Dogg, French Montana, The Game, DDG, and more, "Bosco" marks the feature directorial debut of Chilean-American writer-director Nicholas Manuel Pino.

The film is set to premiere on February 2nd, exclusively on the Peacock streaming platform. Watch the trailer, above.
