Stand-up comedian and podcaster Esther Povitsky is making her move into the world of movie stardom as she stars in this new comedy centered around an obnoxious wannabe influencer.

Check out the official trailer for "Drugstore June," a new quirky indie comedy where Esther Povitsky not only stars but also co-wrote the screenplay. She portrays the titular character, June, a social media-obsessed woman who fervently aspires to become the next big sensation in the online landscape. As she grapples with the pressures of her less-than-enthusiastic parents and navigates the challenges of adulthood, June hilariously finds herself a suspect in a pharmacy vandalism and robbery, where she works. June seizes the opportunity to turn this unfortunate event into a social media story, hoping to gain followers by conducting her own investigation.

The cast includes an ensemble of fellow comedians such as Bobby Lee, Al Madrigal, Bill Burr, Brandon Wardell, Matt Walsh, Patricia "Ms. Pat" Williams, Nick Rutherford, and more. The film also features Beverly D'Angelo, James Remar, and Haley Joel Osment.

Directed and co-written by Nicholaus Goossen, known for directing the Happy Madison stoner comedy "Grandma's Boy," "Drugstore June" is executive produced by Bill Burr. It is scheduled for a theatrical release on February 23rd.
