This dialogue-free animated film, which received strong reviews at last year's Cannes Film Festival, is based on the popular graphic novel of the same name by cartoonist Sara Varon. The graphic novel tells a charming tale of a dog and a robot who become inseparable friends until the robot is betrayed by his canine pal.
The film adaptation is helmed by Spanish filmmaker Pablo Berger, known for his 2012 award-winning Spanish black-and-white silent film homage drama, "Blancanieves."
"Robot Dreams" is set to arrive in the U.S. soon via Neon Films, offering audiences a heartwarming and visually captivating story of friendship and betrayal.
