Check out the official trailer for the upcoming coming-of-age comedy "Fitting In," starring dancer-turned-actress Maddie Ziegler, from "West Side Story" and "The Fallout." Ziegler stars as a 16-year-old girl who embarks on a journey of self-discovery regarding her perspectives on womanhood and sexuality after receiving a diagnosis of a rare reproductive condition.

This film is both written and directed by Molly McGlynn, drawing inspiration from her own experiences as a woman diagnosed with MRKH syndrome. McGlynn made her debut as a filmmaker with the 2017 indie film "Mary Goes Round," which received recognition at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). She has further extended her talents by directing episodes for various television series, including "Grown-ish," "The Big Door Prize," and "Grace and Frankie."

Aside from Maddie Ziegler, the movie boasts an ensemble cast featuring Emily Hampshire, D'Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Ki Griffin, Djouliet Amara, and Michael Therriault.

Executive produced by Janelle Monae, "Fitting In" garnered positive reviews when it screened at the 2023 SXSW Film Festival under the title "Bloody Hell." Audiences can anticipate its theatrical release on February 2, 2024.
