From the executive producers of "Succession" and the creative minds behind "The Menu" comes a compelling new dark satirical political thriller series. Starring Kate Winslet in a gripping role as a burgeoning European leader who wields her power with an iron fist.

Check out a brand-new official teaser for "The Regime," an upcoming limited series on HBO. This show takes you behind the opulent palace walls of a contemporary European regime, capturing the unfolding events over the course of a year as the nation steadily descends into the clutches of fascism.

Kate Winslet, who also serves as an executive producer, portrays the Madam Chancellor of a fictional European nation. She envisions a "New Europe" that rapidly transforms into a chilling nightmare as her political rise coincides with the country's descent into authoritarian rule.

Belgian actor Matthias Schoenaerts, known for his roles in "The Old Guard" and "Bullhead," shares the screen as a newly appointed military enforcer who becomes Kate Winslet's unwavering right-hand man. Additionally, the series boasts a stellar ensemble cast, including Guillaume Gallienne, Andrea Riseborough, Martha Plimpton, Hugh Grant, and more.

Acclaimed directors Stephen Frears ("The Queen") and Jessica Hobbs ("The Crown") each take the helm for select episodes, while the series is created by writer Will Tracy, known for "The Menu" and "Succession." Seth Reiss, co-scribe of "Menu," also joins as an executive producer.

"The Regime" is set to premiere on HBO and Max starting on March 3, 2024.
