"Priscilla" and "Euphoria" star Jacob Elordi portrays a 1960s serial killer who goes on a bizarre journey with a celebrity animal trainer in this new true-crime thriller, inspired by a stranger-than-fiction true story.

"He Went That Way," for which an official trailer has been released, features Jacob Elordi starring alongside Zachary Quinto, of "Star Trek" fame. Quinto plays a semi-famous animal trainer who, while traveling across America with his pet chimpanzee, gives a ride to a hitchhiker, who turns out to be a serial killer (played by Elordi). The film promises a bizarre cross-country journey filled with unexpected twists and turns.

"He Went That Way" serves as the feature directorial debut of Jeff Darling, a veteran Australian cinematographer and director known for his work on commercials and music videos, including several music videos for Crowded House. He was also the cinematographer for the cult 1988 Yahoo Serious comedy "Young Einstein." Sadly, Jeff Darling tragically passed away in March 2022 due to a surfing accident in Sydney at the age of 60.

Co-starring Patrick J. Adams (from "Suits"), "He Went That Way" is scheduled to premiere in theaters and on VOD on January 5th. Be sure to check out the trailer, above.
