John Krasinski showcased his directing talents with the "A Quiet Place" films, proving himself as a proficient horror filmmaker. However, he is now branching out into a totally different genre with his next directorial effort. Krasinski's next film is not a horror, but instead a family friendly fantasy comedy that aims to reconnect audiences with their childhood emotions, tugging at their heartstrings along the way.

Check out the first official teaser trailer for "IF," directed and written by John Krasinski, and starring Ryan Reynolds and Cailey Fleming as an unlikely duo who join forces after discovering a hidden world of imaginary friends, known as "IFs."

In the film, young Bea (played by Cailey Fleming, known for her role as Judith Grimes in "The Walking Dead") realizes she has the ability to see everyone's imaginary friends in the real world. She embarks on a mission to reconnect people with their forgotten IFs, with the help of her upstairs neighbor (Ryan Reynolds), who has recently reunited with his childhood imaginary friend, a giant purple monster voiced by Steve Carell.

"IF" boasts a strong supporting cast, including Fiona Shaw, Bobby Moynihan, and Alan Kim, and features the voices of the IFs by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Louis Gossett Jr., Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Maya Rudolph, Jon Stewart, Sam Rockwell, Sebastian Maniscalco, Christopher Meloni, Richard Jenkins, and Awkwafina.
