Netflix has released the official trailer for "Berlin," the new international crime series set in the universe of "Money Heist."

In this Netflix spinoff prequel series, Spanish actor Pedro Alonso reprises his role as the master jewel thief, Andres "Berlin" de Fonollosa, from the immensely popular Spanish crime series "Money Heist."

Berlin has gathered a crew of master thieves, and this time, they have their sights set on one of the most ambitious heists ever planned in the city of Paris, France. Their target? A staggering 44 million euros worth of jewels. Can Europe's preeminent thief successfully execute this heist of a lifetime in one night?

The cast includes not only Pedro Alonso but also Najwa Nimri, Itziar Ituno, Michelle Jenner, Julio Pena, Begona Vargas, Tristan Ulloa, Julien Paschal, and Joel Sanchez.

"Berlin" is brought to you by the creative minds of "Money Heist" creator Alex Pina and Esther Martinez Lobato, and it is scheduled to premiere exclusively on Netflix on December 29th.
