Netflix has released the official full-length trailer for "Boy Swallows Universe," the new Australian coming-of-age crime drama series adapted from Trent Dalton's best-selling semi-autobiographical novel of the same title.

Boasting an impressive ensemble cast featuring Travis Fimmel, Zac Burgess, Phoebe Tonkin, Bryan Brown, Simon Baker, Anthony LaPaglia, and Sophie Wilde, this eight-episode series transports viewers to 1980s Brisbane, Australia. It revolves around a precocious young boy and his selectively mute brother, who embark on a journey in search of love, redemption, and retribution after their working-class family is torn apart by a local drug lord.

Delving into the criminal underbelly of working-class Brisbane in the early 1980s, this limited series is created, written and executive produced by acclaimed writer/novelist John Collee, who is also the screenwriter of "Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World" and "Happy Feet." Notably, Australian actor Joel Edgerton serves as one of the executive producers for the series.
