If you're eager for a sneak peek at the upcoming "Walking Dead" spin-off series that brings back beloved characters Rick Grimes and Michonne, you're in luck. AMC dropped a 30-second sneak peek a few days ago, and in case you didn't catch it, here it is for your viewing pleasure.

When actor Andrew Lincoln, who portrays the zombie-apocalypse survivor Rick Grimes, exited "The Walking Dead" series during its ninth season, there were whispers of him returning in his own standalone Rick Grimes movie. Similarly, when actress Danai Gurira, who plays the katana-wielding badass Michonne, who is also Rick's romantic partner, left the series during Season 11, there were speculations of a solo Michonne movie. However, it appears that these plans have been combined or restructured, as "The Ones Who Live" is poised to bring back both Rick Grimes and Michonne, much to the excitement of fans.

In this new limited series, Rick Grimes, previously presumed dead, resurfaces in action. His fate, once shrouded in mystery, was tied to the enigmatic Civic Republic Military (CRM). Meanwhile, Michonne, driven by unwavering determination, departed her group in pursuit of Rick. Her journey is poised to unveil the truth about Rick's whereabouts.

The series also features "Walking Dead" veteran Pollyanna McIntosh as Jadis Stokes, also known as Anne, the CRM's warrant officer. With a complex past and shifting loyalties, Anne brings an additional layer of intrigue to the storyline. Joining the cast of the series are Lesley-Ann Brandt, Matt Jeffries, and Terry O'Quinn.

Executive produced by showrunner Scott M. Gimple, "The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live" is scheduled to premiere on February 25, 2024, on AMC and AMC Plus. Be sure to catch the brand-new sneak peek above.
