Coming soon to Peacock is an exciting new prequel series to Seth MacFarlane's beloved comedy films, centered around the irreverent, foul-mouthed teddy bear, "Ted."

Take a sneak peek at the very first official teaser for "Ted," the upcoming Peacock original comedy series that is based on MacFarlane's earlier "Ted" movies. In this series, MacFarlane reprises his role as the voice of Ted.

Set in 1993, the prequel "event" series finds Ted the bear (Seth MacFarlane) living in his hometown of Framingham, Massachusetts, alongside his 16-year-old best friend, John Bennett (Max Burkholder). Also part of the household are John's parents, Matty and Susan (Scott Grimes and Alanna Ubach), and cousin Blaire (Giorgia Whigham). Although Ted had a moment of fame and celebrity, those days are long gone. The series will delve into Ted's relationship with a teenage John.

"Ted" is scheduled to make its debut on January 11th, exclusively on Peacock.

synopsis:
In this comedic prequel event series to the "Ted" films, it's 1993, and Ted the bear's (Seth MacFarlane) moment of fame has passed. He's now living back home in Framingham, Massachusetts with his best friend, 16-year-old John Bennett (Max Burkholder), along with John's parents, Matty and Susan (Scott Grimes and Alanna Ubach) and cousin Blaire (Giorgia Whigham). Ted may be a lousy influence on John, but at the end of the day, he's a loyal pal who's always willing to go out on a limb for friendship.
