Check out the official trailer for the forthcoming adventure drama, "Arthur the King," starring Mark Wahlberg and a street dog with a penchant for meatballs.

This film is based on the remarkable true story of pro adventure racer Michael Light, portrayed by Mark Wahlberg, who leads a team of fellow athletes in the Adventure Racing World Championship held in the Dominican Republic. As the team pushes the boundaries of their strength and stamina, Light forms an unlikely bond with a stray dog named Arthur, who becomes an integral part of the team during the grueling 400-mile endurance race.

Adapted from Mikael Lindnord's non-fiction book, "Arthur: The Dog Who Crossed the Jungle to Find a Home," the movie is directed by British filmmaker Simon Cellan Jones, who also just directed Mark Wahlberg's action family comedy "The Family Plan" (slated for release on Apple TV Plus in December).

The cast includes Simu Liu, Juliet Rylance, Nathalie Emmanuel, Ali Suliman, along with Bear Grylls playing himself, and Paul Guilfoyle.

"Arthur the King" is scheduled to hit theaters on March 22, 2024, promising an inspiring and heartwarming adventure. Watch the official trailer, above.
