George Lopez had simple holiday plans -- spending quality time with his family. However, things take an unexpected turn when his daughter invites her new boyfriend to join the family gathering, setting the stage for a cultural clash.

Check out the official trailer for the new Christmas family comedy, "How The Gringo Stole Christmas," starring comedian George Lopez as the proud patriarch of a Mexican-American family. He finds himself trying to welcome his daughter's new "gringo" boyfriend, but his attempts at being nice prove to be challenging.

Emily Tosta from "Mayans M.C." co-stars as Lopez's daughter, while Jack Kilmer, son of actor Val Kilmer, plays her nice boyfriend. Mexican actress Mariana Trevino from "A Man Called Otto" completes the cast as Lopez's wife.

The film is directed by Angel Gracia, known for the Latino comedy "From Prada to Nada."

"How The Gringo Stole Christmas" is set to be released on December 1st on VOD and Digital.
